Moving Checklists

We aim to streamline the moving process for you

Move-In Checklist

We're eager to welcome you into your new home with us. Please review the checklist below to ensure you start your stay on the right foot.

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Your first month's rent and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection
Your move-in date and initial inspection information will be provided at the lease signing.

Utilities
You'll need to play all utility accounts in your name immediately following the lease signing. Please take care of this before moving in to avoid losing access to any of the utilities in the property. Remember, you're responsible for keeping utility accounts current throughout the duration of your tenancy.

Move-Out Checklist

Preparing to move out of your property? Use the details below to ensure things go off without a hitch.

Notice of Intent to Vacate
Planning to move out of your rental home? Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition
You'll need to bring your property back to rent-ready condition before moving out of your home. This includes the following:

Rental Cleaning: Start with decluttering and dispose of any unwanted items responsibly. Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including countertops, shelves, and appliances. Clean kitchen appliances inside and out, paying attention to the oven and refrigerator.

Scrub bathroom fixtures, sanitize surfaces, and address any mildew or mold. Vacuum or mop floors, and steam clean carpets if necessary. Don't forget to wipe down baseboards, light fixtures, and switch plates. Finally, empty and clean all cabinets and closets.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you typically address outdoor landscaping chores like mowing the lawn, weeding flower beds, etc., please take care of these chores once more before moving out.

Repairs: Please address any damage that has occurred in your home during your stay. This incudes patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and changing out burnt lightbulbs.

Security Deposit
We will return your security deposit after performing a final inspection of your rental. If we identify any damages, we will schedule repairs and the costs for these repairs will be deducted from your deposit.

Please remember, your final month's rent payment cannot be paid with your deposit. Failure to pay your rent may result in adverse credit reporting, late fees, and legal action.
